Welcome Movement® Youth programme provides Dance and Movement sessions to schools, organisations and young individuals to support and nurture healthy wellbeing and creativity.
Classes and workshops are specially designed for the Youth of today, providing a welcome introduction and journey into the positive and empowering benefits of dance and movement on the minds and bodies of young participants. Sessions will encourage greater mental, physical and emotional awareness, nourish creativity and behaviour to support participants growth as they evolve into adults.

Welcome Movement® sessions will connect participants to their inner space and their peers around them, guiding them on how they can engage and relate to the changing environments that they may encounter and find themselves in through fun and creative approaches. Sessions aspire to promote healthy minds, bodies and hearts in young people to understand themselves as individuals, improve communication and inspire a healthy attitude, preparing them for the pressures and challenges they may face growing up.
Workshops will allow children to tune into their bodies and explore their creativity.
They will be introduced to a variety of ways in which they can express themselves, serving as beneficial support as they grow into adults and experience bodily changes, shifts and changes in their thought patterns and perceptions, develop and challenge their beliefs and find purpose as they move through their young/early years.
Through the power of Movement and Mind, sessions will help participants to;
- Address and guide posture and embodiment
- Notice their state of mind

- Connect with the energies and elements nature – Air, water, fire, earth and space
- Build self-esteem and confidence

As young individuals transition through the stages of education; from Nursery to Primary school to High School and on to University and starting their chosen career path and finding their place in their vocational life, Welcome Movement sessions offer participants confidence and the ability to manage and guide themselves through life’s changing and evolving circumstances and challenges.
